Do I need to be an experienced runner?
No! Walkers and runners of all levels are welcome. The Sunrise Classic is about celebrating our community.
What time should I arrive?
Arrive by 6:30 AM for packet pickup and warm-up. The first heat starts at 7:00 AM.
What if it rains?
The race will proceed in light rain. Severe weather decisions and postponement information will be announced by 5:00 AM race day.
What is included with my registration?
Every registered participant receives an official race t-shirt, a bib number, chip timing, goodies from our sponsors, age-group awards, and access to post-race refreshments.
Can I register on race day?
Race day registration may be available depending on capacity, but we strongly encourage registering in advance to guarantee your spot and t-shirt size.
How do heats work?
Runners are assigned to heats based on their seed time provided during registration. This helps ensure a smooth start and groups runners of similar pace together. Heat sheets with your assigned heat and estimated start time will be emailed to all registered participants 48 hours before race day.
Will the course be timed?
Yes! We use chip timing for accurate results. Your official time will be posted online shortly after you finish.
